Pnoepyga albiventer
The White-bellied Minivet is a small passerine bird found in the forests and woodlands of the eastern Himalayas and Southeast Asia. It is known for its distinctive black and white plumage, with the male having a striking black head and back, contrasting with the white underparts. The female has more subdued colors, with grayish-olive upperparts and a whitish belly. These birds are often found in mixed-species foraging flocks, feeding on insects and small fruits. They build cup-shaped nests in trees and shrubs. The White-bellied Minivet is not currently considered to be globally threatened, and its populations are relatively stable.
