The White-breasted Kingfisher, also known as the White-throated Kingfisher, is a medium-sized bird found in parts of Asia. It has a distinctive blue and white plumage, with a large bill and a short tail. This kingfisher is often found near water bodies such as rivers, lakes, and coastal areas, where it perches on branches or wires to hunt for fish, crustaceans, and insects. It is known for its loud, cackling call and is often seen diving into the water to catch its prey. The White-breasted Kingfisher is a widespread species and is not currently considered to be at risk.
