White-breasted Parakeet, Pyrrhura albipectus, is a parakeet of south-eastern Ecuador in the Psittacidae family. It was described by Chapman in 1914 and breeds on the eastern Andean slope in Morona-Santiago and Zamora-Chinchipe. Its main distinguishing feature is the broad white band around the neck. It lives in the canopy, forest edges and clearings in primary subtropical and tropical forest, usually below 1,700 m and from 900 to 2,000 m. It is also known from Podocarpus National Park and the Tapichalaca Reserve.
