White-browed Bush Chat, Saxicola macrorhynchus, is a chat of the Muscicapidae family that breeds in north-western India, with former breeding in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It is associated with semi-arid country in this part of the Oriental Region and is a desert specialist. Records also place it farther east in the Bharatpur area of Rajasthan, farther south in Goa and Pune, and there are two historical records from southern Afghanistan. It is also known as Stoliczka’s bushchat, a name linked to Ferdinand Stoliczka.
