White-browed Bush Robin, Tarsiger indicus, is a passerine in the Muscicapidae family that breeds in the Himalayas, extending through south-central China to north Vietnam. It is associated with rhododendron and conifer forests. The species was first described in 1817 by Vieillot. Two subspecies are recognised: indicus in the central and eastern Himalayas, and yunnanensis in north Myanmar, central south China and north Vietnam. It also shows delayed plumage maturation, with first-year males keeping juvenile plumage after they can breed. It makes altitudinal movements and feeds on insects.
