White-browed Crake, Poliolimnas cinereus, is a rail in the family Rallidae, found across the Oriental Region and Australasia, from north-east India and south-east Asia through the Malay Peninsula, the Indonesian Archipelago and the Philippines to New Guinea, nearby islands and north-western Polynesia. It also occurs in Australia. Its natural home is subtropical or tropical mangrove forest. A form once linked to Iwo Jima, the Iwo Jima rail, is now extinct.
