The White-browed Fantail (Rhipidura aureola) is a small passerine bird found in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its distinctive white eyebrow stripe and long, fanned tail. This species is known for its acrobatic flight and frequent tail movements while foraging for insects in the dense undergrowth of forests and woodlands. The White-browed Fantail is a vocal bird, often emitting a series of melodious calls. It is known for its adaptability and can be found in a variety of forested habitats, including tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, as well as montane forests. Although not currently considered threatened, habitat loss and degradation pose potential risks to its populations.
