White-browed Hawk Leucopternis kuhli is a bird of prey in the Accipitridae family, found in South America’s Amazonia, including Bolivia, Brazil and Peru. It lives in tropical rainforest south of the Amazon River, from lowland areas up to 500 m. The bird has a dark head with a narrow white line above the eye, black upperparts marked with white on the nape and mantle, and a black tail with a broad white band across the middle. Its underparts are white, and the sexes look alike.
