White-browed Tit-Warbler

Kurochkinegramma hypogrammicum

The White-browed Tit-Warbler, scientifically known as Kurochkinegramma hypogrammicum, is a small passerine bird found in the high-altitude forests of the eastern Himalayas. This species is known for its distinctive white eyebrow stripe, olive-brown upperparts, and pale underparts. It is an active and agile bird, often observed foraging for insects and small invertebrates in the dense undergrowth. The melodious song of the White-browed Tit-Warbler adds to the charm of its montane habitat. Although not much is known about its breeding behavior, it is believed to construct cup-shaped nests in shrubs or low trees. Due to its restricted range and specific habitat requirements, conservation efforts are crucial to ensure the survival of this species.
