White-browed Treecreeper

Climacteris affinis

The White-browed Treecreeper (Climacteris affinis) is a small, insectivorous bird native to Australia. It is known for its distinctive white eyebrow stripe and mottled brown and white plumage, providing excellent camouflage in its woodland habitat. This species is often observed foraging for insects on tree trunks and branches, using its strong, curved bill to probe for prey. The White-browed Treecreeper is a solitary and elusive bird, typically found in eucalypt forests and woodlands. Its conservation status is currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN, due to its widespread distribution and stable population.
