White-browed Warbler

The White-browed Warbler (Myiothlypis leucoblephara) is a small passerine bird found in the Andes of South America. It has a distinctive white eyebrow stripe and olive-green upperparts, with a yellow throat and underparts. This species is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard in the dense undergrowth of cloud forests and montane woodlands. White-browed Warblers forage for insects and spiders in the lower and middle levels of the forest, using their slender bills to pick prey from leaves and branches. They are typically found in humid and mossy habitats, where they build cup-shaped nests in the undergrowth. Although not currently considered threatened, their population may be vulnerable to habitat loss and degradation.
