White-capped Munia, Lonchura ferruginosa, is a passerine in the family Estrildidae, the waxbills, munias and allies. It occurs in the Oriental Region, with breeding recorded in southern Sumatra, Java and Bali. In southern Sumatra it is rare. It was described by Sparrman in 1789.
