White-cheeked Antbird, Gymnopithys leucaspis, is a passerine of the antbird family that breeds in South America from central Colombia to north-east Peru and north-west Amazonian Brazil. It was first described by Sclater in 1855. The bird is tied to humid lowland and foothill evergreen forest on terra firme, and also uses nearby mature secondary forest. It stays mainly in the undergrowth. The species is an obligate follower of army ants, taking arthropods flushed by the swarms, and it also eats small frogs and lizards. It is not known to migrate.
