Anas bahamensis
The White-cheeked Pintail, also known as the Bahama Pintail, is a species of dabbling duck found in the Caribbean and South America. It is a medium-sized duck with a distinctive white stripe on its face and a mottled brown body. These ducks are commonly found in coastal lagoons, marshes, and ponds, where they feed on aquatic plants, small invertebrates, and seeds. They are known for their strong flight and are often seen in small flocks. The White-cheeked Pintail is not currently considered to be at risk, with stable populations throughout its range.
