Pellorneum rostratum (Blyth, 1842)
White-chested Babbler, Pellorneum rostratum, is a bird of the ground babbler family found in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, the Riau and Lingga islands, Belitung, Borneo and Banggi. It occurs in the Oriental Region and is associated with moist lowland forest and mangrove forest. It was once treated as the same species as the Bornean swamp babbler. The name was formerly applied to this bird, which was described by Blyth in 1842.
