White-crowned Cuckoo, Caliechthrus leucolophus, is a cuckoo of New Guinea and Salawati in the Raja Ampat Islands, north-west of New Guinea. It is the only species placed in Caliechthrus. The bird was first described in 1840 by Salomon Müller, who gave it the name Cuculus leucolophus. It belongs to the family Cuculidae and the order Cuculiformes. Its recorded breeding range covers Australasia, including Salawati and New Guinea.
