White-crowned Shama, Copsychus stricklandii, is a passerine of the Muscicapidae family found in northern Borneo and Banggi, with breeding recorded in the Oriental Region. It is a bird of the Southeast Asian island of Borneo and is closely tied to that range. Its most notable feature is the white crown that sets it apart from the white-rumped shama. The species was described by Motley and Dillwyn in 1855. It is now treated as monotypic, with no recognised subspecies. The Maratua shama was once included with it, but is now regarded separately.
