White-faced Starling, Sturnornis albofrontatus, is a starling found in Sri Lanka, where it breeds and remains throughout the year. It belongs to the family Sturnidae and was first described by Layard in 1854. The species is the only one in its genus. Adults have a pale head set against darker upperparts and lighter underparts, with a green sheen on the upper body. It is usually associated with tall forest and is most often seen high in the canopy. It nests in holes and lays two eggs.
