White-fronted Scops Owl, Otus sagittatus, is an owl of the Malay Peninsula in the Oriental Region, with a breeding range in peninsular Malaysia. It was described by Cassin in 1849. The species is tied to lowland and foothill forest, and its known range includes forest from sea level up to 700 m. It is also recorded from western Thailand. The bird is a member of Strigidae and is treated as monotypic.
