Myioborus albifrons (Sclater, PL & Salvin, 1871)

White-fronted Whitestart, Myioborus albifrons, is a bird of the Venezuelan Andes in western Venezuela, where it lives in wet montane forest and its edges and clearings. It is a member of the New World warblers and was first described in 1871. The species is endemic to Venezuela and is a year-round resident. It is recognised by a white forehead that reaches the eye and joins a white eye-ring, creating a spectacled look. Adults also show a small orange-rufous crown patch, a black band below it, grey upperparts, and a black tail with white outer feathers.
