White-headed Munia

The White-headed Munia, also known as the White-headed Mannikin, is a small finch native to Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its distinctive white head, black upperparts, and white underparts. These birds are often found in open grasslands, rice fields, and scrub habitats. They are social birds and often form large flocks during the non-breeding season. White-headed Munias primarily feed on grass seeds and small insects. Their conservation status is currently categorized as Least Concern by the IUCN, indicating that they are not facing significant threats at the population level.
