White-headed Starling, Sturnia erythropygia, is a starling of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Oriental Region, where it lives in wooded habitats. It belongs to the family Sturnidae and was described by Blyth in 1846. It was once placed in Sturnus before being moved to Sturnia. Three subspecies are recognised: andamanensis in the Andaman Islands, erythropygia in the north Nicobar Islands, and katchalensis in the central Nicobar Islands.
