White-lined Antbird, Myrmoborus lophotes, is a passerine of the antbird family in south-west Amazonia, where it occurs in Bolivia, Brazil and Peru. It lives on the ground and in the understorey of river-edge várzea and transitional forest, and is especially tied to dense Guadua bamboo, though it also uses thick Heliconia and Costus stands. Both sexes show a prominent crest. Adult males are mainly blackish grey with a white patch between the scapulars, while females have a cinnamon-rufous crown and a paler underpart pattern.
