Euphonia chrysopasta Sclater, PL & Salvin, 1869
White-lored Euphonia, Euphonia chrysopasta, is a resident bird of the Guiana Shield and Amazonia in South America, where it lives in humid forest canopies and along forest edges. It was described in 1869 by Sclater and Salvin. The bird has a thick bill and is sexually dimorphic, though the difference between the sexes is not striking. It uses várzea and terra firme forest, shady openings with trees, and mature secondary growth, and it can be found from lowlands up to 1,200 m in Colombia and Peru.
