White-rumped Kingfisher, Caridonax fulgidus, is a kingfisher of the Lesser Sundas in Indonesia, breeding from Lombok to Flores, Besar, Adonara and the western and central parts of the chain. It belongs to the family Alcedinidae and was described by Gould in 1857. It is found in moist lowland forest and moist montane forest. The bird is dark blue overall, with a white underside and rump. It has a red bill and feet, and dark brown eyes.
