Sirystes albocinereus
The White-rumped Sirystes is a medium-sized neotropical bird found in the Amazon Basin. It has a distinctive white patch on its rump, contrasting with its olive-green upperparts and yellowish underparts. This species is known for its melodious and far-carrying song, often heard in the forest canopy. White-rumped Sirystes primarily feeds on insects and is often observed sallying out from a perch to catch its prey. It inhabits tropical lowland forests and is often found in the mid to upper levels of the canopy.
