White-shouldered Starling, Sturnia sinensis, is a starling of the Oriental Region, breeding from southern China to Cambodia and Vietnam. It is a bird of the family Sturnidae. It is marked by a white patch on the shoulder, blue eyes and a grey bill. Adult males have a light brown head and breast with a white belly, while adult females are darker brown on the back and belly. It is usually seen in large flocks. It was described by Gmelin in 1788.
