White-tailed Tityra, Tityra leucura, is a passerine of south-central Amazonian Brazil in South America, where it occurs in a small part of the rainforest near the Madeira River. It was described by Pelzeln in 1868. Its key feature is the white tail, which sets it apart from the black-crowned tityra. The bird has pied plumage with a black crown and wings, and the rest of its plumage is mostly white or very pale grey. It belongs to the family Tityridae, within the order Passeriformes.
