White-throated Ground Dove, Pampusana xanthonura, is a bird of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam and Yap in the western Pacific. It breeds in native forest, and also occurs in plantations and secondary forest. It is a ground dove in the family Columbidae. The species was first described by Temminck in 1823. It is most often found in thick forest, where it can be difficult to locate. Males are seen more frequently than females, and the sexes differ in plumage, with the male showing white on the head and breast.
