White-throated Laughingthrush, Pterorhinus albogularis, is a passerine of the Leiothrichidae family that breeds across the Himalayas to north-west Vietnam. It is found in the Oriental Region, with its range extending through Afghanistan, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Tibet and Vietnam. It was once included in Garrulax, but a 2018 molecular study led to its transfer to Pterorhinus. Its natural home is subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.
