White-throated Manakin, Corapipo gutturalis, is a passerine of the Pipridae family that breeds in the tepuis and other areas of northern South America outside Amazonia. It occurs in Venezuela, the Guianas and northern Brazil. It is a forest bird, usually tied to humid interior woodland on gently broken ground, though it also appears at edges. The species is resident throughout the year. It is sexually dimorphic, with adult males showing a white throat and upper breast, while females are dull olive above and mostly greyish white below.
