White-throated Piping Guan, Pipile grayi, is a bird of humid forest and cerrado woodland in south-eastern Peru, eastern Bolivia, south-western Brazil and north-eastern Paraguay. It belongs to the Cracidae family within Galliformes. Its range is tied closely to rivers, and it is usually found within about 100 m of them. In Bolivia it reaches 1,500 m. The species is monotypic in worldwide systems. It was described by Pelzeln in 1870.
