White-throated Seedeater, Sporophila albogularis, is a bird of the Thraupidae family found in eastern Brazil. It is restricted to that part of South America and breeds there. Its range is tied to subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and land that was once forest but is now heavily degraded. The species was described by Spix in 1825.
