White-throated Swift

The White-throated Swift is a small, fast-flying bird known for its distinctive white throat patch and long, slender wings. These agile birds are often seen darting through the air in search of flying insects, their primary food source. They are known for their impressive aerial acrobatics and can be found nesting in crevices and cliffs in western North America. White-throated Swifts are highly social birds and often form large flocks during the breeding season. Their high-pitched calls can be heard echoing through the canyons and cliffs where they reside.
