White-throated Tapaculo, Scelorchilus albicollis, is a bird of north and central Chile in the family Rhinocryptidae. It was described by Kittlitz in 1830. The species is confined to Chile, with one form in the north and another farther south. Adults show a cinnamon forehead, a clear white supercilium and grey-brown upper parts, while the rump is lightly barred. The underparts are whitish, becoming pale cinnamon on the belly, and most of the underside is marked with dark brown bars. Juveniles are barred throughout.
