Sturnia blythii

The White-vented Myna (Sturnia blythii) is a medium-sized starling species found in South and Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its glossy black plumage, white vent, and yellow bill. These birds are highly social and often form large flocks, foraging for fruits, insects, and nectar in open woodlands, cultivated areas, and urban environments. They are known for their melodious calls and are often found in noisy and bustling environments. The White-vented Myna is not currently considered to be at risk of extinction, and its population is believed to be stable.
