The White-winged Redstart, scientifically known as Phoenicurus erythrogastrus, is a small passerine bird found in the mountainous regions of Central Asia. This striking bird is characterized by its black head, white wings, and bright rufous-orange underparts. It is known for its agile and active foraging behavior, often seen darting and flitting among rocks and boulders in its alpine habitat. The White-winged Redstart primarily feeds on insects and small invertebrates. It constructs cup-shaped nests in rock crevices or among boulders.
