Yellow-bearded Greenbul, Criniger olivaceus, is a bulbul from West Africa, breeding from Sierra Leone to Ghana. It belongs to the family Pycnonotidae and was described by Swainson in 1837. It occurs in the region from eastern Sierra Leone to south-western Ghana, where its natural home is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest. It has also been placed in Xenocichla, a name now treated as a synonym of Bleda, and has at times been regarded as the same species as the white-bearded greenbul. It is also known by several alternative names, including olive bulbul and yellow-throated olive greenbul.
