Aegithina lafresnayei

The Yellow-bellied Fairy-fantail is a small passerine bird found in the forests and woodlands of Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its striking yellow underparts, olive-green upperparts, and a black mask around its eyes. This species is known for its active and agile behavior, often flitting and darting through the foliage in search of insects. It builds a cup-shaped nest using moss, spider webs, and other plant materials. The Yellow-bellied Fairy-fantail is an insectivore, feeding on small insects and spiders. Although not currently classified as threatened, habitat loss and degradation are potential threats to its population.
