The Yellow-bellied Tailorbird (Orthotomus chloronotus) is a small songbird found in Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its olive-green upperparts, bright yellow underparts, and a distinctive long tail. This species is known for its melodious and repetitive song, often heard in dense vegetation near water bodies. The Yellow-bellied Tailorbird is an insectivore, foraging for small insects and spiders in the undergrowth. Its preferred habitat includes mangroves, wetlands, and tropical forests. Despite being relatively common in its range, the species may face threats from habitat loss and degradation. As a result, its conservation status is currently classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
