Yellow-bellied Tit, Pardaliparus venustulus, is a bird endemic to China. It occurs in temperate forest and in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest below 2000 metres, and it is also found in urban green spaces. The species belongs to the family Paridae and was first described by Robert Swinhoe in 1870. Males are strongly territorial, yet they show a mutual tolerance towards neighbouring birds, a pattern known as the dear-enemy effect. Individuals also tend to favour one foot over the other.
