Yellow-bellied Waxbill, Coccopygia quartinia, is a bird of east central and south-eastern Africa. It belongs to the estrildid finches and is placed in the family Estrildidae. It breeds across those parts of Africa, and some taxonomists treat it as the same species as the swee waxbill. The bird is also known as yellow-bellied swee. Described by Bonaparte in 1850, it is a passerine in the order Passeriformes.
