These birds are known for their melodious and far-carrying songs, often heard during the breeding season. They primarily feed on seeds, berries, and insects. The Yellow-billed Grosbeak is a shy and elusive species, often found in small flocks or pairs. Due to habitat loss and limited range, their conservation status is currently categorized as Vulnerable by the IUCN.
