Yellow-billed Lorikeet, Neopsittacus musschenbroekii, is a parrot of montane New Guinea, from the Bird’s Head in the north-west through western areas to the north-east Huon Peninsula and south-east New Guinea. It belongs to the Psittaculidae family. Its natural home is moist montane forest in subtropical or tropical settings. It is marked by green plumage, a red breast and a bright yellow bill.
