Yellow-breasted Apalis

Apalis flavida

The Yellow-breasted Apalis is a small passerine bird found in eastern and southern Africa. It is characterized by its distinctive yellow breast and olive-green upperparts. This species is often found in dense undergrowth and forest edges, where it forages for insects and small invertebrates. The Yellow-breasted Apalis is known for its melodious and varied song, which it uses to communicate and defend its territory. Although not currently considered threatened, habitat loss and degradation are potential future threats to this species.
