Yellow-breasted Bowerbird, Chlamydera lauterbachi, is a bowerbird of western to north-eastern New Guinea in Australasia. It occurs on mainland New Guinea in grasslands, lowlands and subtropical mountain forests. Both sexes look alike, though the female is less vivid than the male. It has brownish-olive upperparts, a greyish-yellow upper breast, a coppery crown, yellow underparts, a dark brown iris, a black bill and a pinkish-orange mouth. The scientific name honours Carl Lauterbach, who found the bird in 1896. It was described by Reichenow in 1897.
