Yellow-breasted Satinbird, Loboparadisea sericea, is a passerine of the family Cnemophilidae that breeds in montane western to south-eastern New Guinea. First described by Rothschild in 1896, it is a bird of the New Guinea highlands and central mountain ranges. It is the only member of its genus. Adult males have enlarged bifurcated nasal wattles, a feature that sets the species apart. It is recorded from lower and mid-montane forest, mainly in mature interior woodland rather than at the edges, and it is generally quiet and hard to notice.
