Yellow-breasted Tailorbird, Orthotomus samarensis, is a passerine of the Cisticolidae family that breeds in the East Visayas of the Philippines. It was described by Steere in 1890. Endemic to Bohol, Samar and Leyte, it is tied to tropical moist lowland forest, mangrove forest and moist shrubland, usually below 1,000 metres. It is noted for its yellow body, black head and white mark beneath the chin. It is often seen in pairs in dense undergrowth, and it feeds on small invertebrates. Its breeding is thought to fall mainly in July and August.
