Yellow-breasted Warbling Antbird, Hypocnemis subflava, is a passerine antbird found in central and south-eastern Peru and northern Bolivia. Described by Cabanis in 1873, it belongs to the family Thamnophilidae. Its breeding range covers south-eastern Peru and northern Bolivia, and it is associated with the Andean foothills in Peru and with areas farther south in Bolivia. It lives along forest edges, in openings and beside watercourses in evergreen forest, and also in mature secondary forest. Bamboo stands are important in parts of its range, and in some places it is found mainly in bamboo.
