Yellow-browed tit

Pardaliparus amabilis

The Yellow-browed tit (Pardaliparus amabilis) is a small, colorful bird found in the coniferous and mixed forests of eastern Asia. It is characterized by its vibrant yellow eyebrow stripe and olive-green upperparts. This energetic and acrobatic species forages for insects and seeds in the canopy, often hanging upside down to reach its prey. The Yellow-browed tit forms small flocks outside the breeding season, and its high-pitched calls can be heard as it moves through the trees. While not currently considered threatened, habitat loss and degradation pose potential risks to its populations.
